Blogs & Stuff

On this page you’ll find a variety of posts, which I’ll update from time to time.

New Stuff:

Printers Row Literary Festival in Chicago.  (Blog: 6/22/10, event 6/12 & 13)

30-Day Adventure Blog?  Just click on the link to see the archived blogs. Last entry was 5/22/10.

In recipe blogs, you’ll find the recipes to foods either mentioned in my books or foods that I serve to my family. (I know–you’re looking at that photo on the right and thinking, “Would I trust a recipe from this man?”  But really, it’s just the website persona.  I’m a good guy … and a good cook!) Last entry: Italian Sausage & Peppers, 5/22/10

In articles, you’ll find columns I’ve written over the years on a number of different themes, but quite a few dealing with being a stay-at-home dad.

In what I’m reading, I’ll let you in on what book is on my nightstand and what I think of it.

In blogs, you get my version of the world at large.

And if you want to leave a comment on any of these, please do!

    Hi Tony,
I’ve just discovered your mystery series and love it.
What are the chances I could get my books autographed? Please keep them coming!

    Tony,

Hello from Louisville, KY Novelist Sissy Marlyn.

Just wanted to take a moment to invite you to the second Almost Famous Authors’ Faire of 2010, being held at the Towne Mall in Elizabethtown, KY, June 19th from noon – 7:00 in the mall’s center court.

We had 72 authors at the Green Tree Mall in Clarksville, IN in March. It was awesome! If you would like to be in the middle of it all at the Towne Mall, we are asking that you send in your application as soon as possible.

“Official” AFAF Authors have first choice of seating. But if at this time you just want to be a participating author, then that is fine as well.

I look forward to you being a part of the Etown faire. I’ll be on the lookout for your application(s). You can download the application(s) and/or pay by Paypal at the website:

    Have a great day!

Mary C. Drechsel (Author Sissy Marlyn)
    Vice-Chair AFAF

    Hi Tony!
In April you visited our library on the eastern part of the state. We are the Union County Public Library in Liberty,IN.
Do you visit libraries and discuss your books? I would like for our book discussion group to read one of your books and you come when we discuss it. On a regular book discussion schedule, we meet on the first Monday of each month. Could you come on October 4th at 6pm? We will have a meal first and then do our discussion. Please let me know if this date is not good for you so we may choose another. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you as a member of the graphics team who designed and supplied the cover art for your recent novel, “Saintly Remains”. Congratulations on that novel! I hope it’s sold well for you. ENC Graphics contracts through Fivestar/Gale to do all the cover art for the Fivestar imprint. We can do more than just book covers though. If you’re looking for ways to help promote this or upcoming titles we can offer promotional packages for posters, bookmarks, and postcards. We can also offer digital files on any E-book covers you’d like to publish. We also recently started doing book trailers which are quickly becoming all the rage in the publishing industry. If you’ve got any other titles your working on or old stuff you’d like to dust off we’d be delighted to hear your ideas and offer you a fair reasonable quote.

We are a customer oriented business of people who are pleasant to work with. Please visit our website and also take a peek at our blog. If you have any questions we’d be happy to hear from you. Thanks for your time and best of luck with your current endeavors.

    Regards,
